Running larger wheels on the Maxx V2 and wanted to gear down a little bit to maintain decent acceleration and keep electronics cool. Running with 54t spur gear.

This is the 19 tooth after I ran 1 pack through my sledge. Im running the Castle MM8s and the 1717 set up. My spur is hardened steel and shows zero wear and has been through 20 packs. I just installed the 21 and I will see if it does any better but so far these are not holding up well at all. I am pretty disappointed and will more than likely be looking to return them after the weekend. I am very thankful that its Prime!

I wouldn’t even put these on a basher, quality is poor and the metal is too soft. In the end you will end up having to replace the spur gear which is spending more money on some cheap gears just not worth it to me.
