I sure wish I'd bought a stainless steel version!It will rust sooner without any chromium content, even if kept all oily as it comesIf you want to use it for woodworking (like I did) --it's a pain to clean, use, coat with oil for storage.Also much smaller than I expected, be apprised....

Quality is nice but I was expecting a much larger square. The “blade” is 2 inches meaning the maximum diameter object this could be used for marking is 4 inches. The description says 1/2” which is the thickness and therefore meaningless as to the functionality. Would be nice if the seller would indicate the dimensions that actually mean something.

I accidentally purchased this by hitting the wrong button I meant to just add it to a list but wasn't thinking. I received it yesterday and have used twice today. No doubt I actually needed it. It is well made and works well to center smaller diameter round stock.
