Way better than looking for the right sized blocks. Doesn't take an extra hand to square up vise.

Good construction. Good utility. These are versatile and can help to shim up jigs or uneven projects.

Since I don’t have a router table, I made a moxon vise to use while making mortises and the vise has a tendency to rack. This spacer helps minimize racking and the spacer material will allow it to withstand the shop environment. However and I’m being very picky, I would have preferred the spacers to be in a variety of standard increments (⅟16,⅛, ¼, etc.) to better match dimensional lumber.

I saw a DIY guide to make a similar tool several years ago and have had that pretty far down my to-do list until I spotted this orange beauty on Amazon. This type of tool allows one to place an item off center and still get a good grip in a vise. It works very well for that purpose as the plastic shims are thin enough to find a dimension close enough to any object one might need to put in the vise. The brass knobs on each end have grippy knurling and nice finishing. The orange color will be easy to find in my messy work area where I accumulate ideas, tools and materials far faster than I can finish projects. There is some slight variation in the manufacture of the plastic portion as they show a slight variation in length when all aligned that may irritate those of us that are OCD about tool perfection but don't affect function at all. Far nicer than what I would have eventually built and now I can use it to accomplish more projects on my list.

This spacer set works very well for keeping vises with large faces parallel when clamping things off-center. The stack of spacers has just enough friction to make it both easy to handle and keep the desired number of spacers in position while the others rest on the bench or on top of the vise. The orange color visibly stands out from most other things in the shop. The individual spacers feel sturdy enough to hold up to any normal clamping pressure. The only suggestion I'd have would be to add a small loop or ring on one end so that they could be hung on a hook near the workbench.

I frequently have to cut something that is too short to hold in the band saw vice. I then have to scout around for a piece of scrap to match the width, so the vise won't pivot and spit out the stock. This tool is perfect and I don't know why I've not run across such a tool before. I tightened the vise very securely, and the spacers held firm. This is just as applicable for metal cutting (it's a metal-cutting saw that I'm using). Good tool, well worth the money.

The functionality you get with this vise stop spacer should not be missed. Also the color makes it easy to see on a cluttered workbench!

This spacer is one of those things that I won't use very often, but when I need one, it's a heck of a lot simpler to pull this thing out than it is to search for that perfectly sized piece of scrap in the bucket. This is certainly not a "need," but it is helpful.Weirdly, I would describe this as having a "premium" feel. About the only way I can think of that would make this feel more "premium" would be if it was made out of red aluminum.
