Seems like fine stuff. My kid used the solder (and a bit of the wick) to assemble a keyboard kit and didn't have much trouble with it even for lead free.

I've ordered flux before that said "No Clean" and I'd end up with the cotton swab and the alcohol trying to remove all the gunk left over, so I was very happy to see this one actually doesn't require a ton of clean up.Pricewise for the set, you're beating the direct from China pricing in both the quantities of flux you're getting and solder braid. Prime shipping is of course a bonus, now I'm not awaiting product on the water which might or might not get to me in time.

It's a standard kit, not required but highly recommended for most soldering jobs. The paste works well, and the wire is easy to melt and use. Use this if you want your jobs to look professional and to make proper solder connections. You do get plenty of supplies, allows for multiple jobs. Use this kit and do the job right.

Basic kit. I decided to pick this up because I was paying close to the price of this kit just for the solder. The materials in this kit are not premium but it excellent for small or quick repairs. If I were doing applications that required these materials on more of a frequent basis, I probably would would select a more premium kit.

My grandson is a DIY electronics repair guy, and he fixes a lot of things for friends and family; he was eager to use this Kit and said it’s ideal for electronic applications.The Soldering Set comes with 2 - Syringes of Soldering Paste—a highly active rosin flux; 2 - Cuttable .6ml Needles; 1 - Copper Spool of 2.5mm long, by 3m wide, Solder Wick; 1 - Spool of sn99.3 cu0.7 X 0.8mm/50g of Lead-Free Solder Wire.This is a nice value, and I will buy this again.

You get everything you need in this kit. By comparison it’s an OK value. It’s all there and it all works and does what it’s supposed to do. I think it’s a combination of the packaging, colors, and materials the products come in that make it look a bit like a party favor gift or something out of your local dollar store (cheap-ish). I couldn’t get over that fact until I used wire, flux and wick. The products themselves are a lot better quality than the packaging, and most importantly: they work pretty good.
