Niceyrig Cage 371 could be used to protect camera body, as well as attach accessories via the mounting points. With the cage, SD card slot, cable port, battery compartment and all controls still get access.

Comes with two cold shoes on the top and left side of cage, won't block camera hot shoe. Also features ARRI and 1/4''-20 threaded holes to attach accessories, like microphone, monitor mount, camera handle(NICEYRIG 348, 383) etc.
Equipped with NATO rail and multiple threads on the side, it provides you more possibilities while building rig. Intergrated with Arca Swiss QR plate, quikly transfer tripod shooting to handheld shooting.
Add second locking point on the bottom to secure the cage on your camera tightly. Besides, there is a flat screw driver absorbed underneath, so you could tighten and loosen the screws quickly.

This is my fifth frame, but the first from NICEYRIG. It differs from the others primarily in the way of packaging. I have only had it for a few days, but I attached it to the Canon EOS 90D without any problems and I do not see any obstacles in using the camera. It does not block anything, there is free access to all sockets and knobs. The LCD screen tilts without problems in all directions. Time will verify my first impression. I am satisfied with the purchase. The cage does not restrict access to the strap or strap mounts on the camera body.

Ich bin sehr begeistert. Hatte zuvor was Ähnliches, nur konnte ich damit das Display nicht mehr drehen. Mit diesem Käfig geht alles.Anhand einer anderen Rezension, man komme nicht mehr an die Knöpfe beim oberen Display, war ich mir zunächst unsicher, ob ich es wirklich bestellen soll. Aber auch das passt, zumindest für meine Hände (Handschuhgröße 9 1/2) relativ gut.

This cage is built nicely. The usual metal like other cages and rigs. It fits arca swiss plates too.NOTE: The cage can sometimes block the battery door a little. There's only one pin to prevent it from moving but if you finesse it well enough while attaching the 1/4-20, you can get it to where it won't block the battery door. That section of the cage can still be moved slightly.

This metal camera cage is a very simple mechanical thing ... but even simple things can be done right or wrong. This one has been done right.It fits my EOS 90D perfectly, including the safety pin, and it is super sturdy. It came pre-assembled, which was a huge bonus – all screws had already been properly tightened at the factory. Also, it lets the built-in flash rise freely, just as advertised.There are enough cold shoes and screwholes around it to rig just about anything one desires. It even replaced my old black Canon Speedlite metal sideways mounting bar (which was an original Canon part and a bloody expensive one, too). Now, it is much faster to attach or remove my external Speedlite 430 EX flash, saving valuable minutes in shooting preparations.Best of all, this cage fits into my camera bag when attached. There is no need to ever remove it from the EOS body (as it also provides a very good grip when handling the valuable camera).---WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMENDED for anyone owning one of the specified Canon EOS models!

Ich vergleiche hier den Niceyrig cage fuer die Canon 90D mit dem Smallrig CCC2658.Gut bei beiden:- Ein kleiner Pin zusaetzlich zur 1/4" Stativschraube sichert die Kamera gegen Verdrehen.- Sauber verarbeitet.- Kameraeinstellungen, Batterie usw sind gut zugaenglich.- Unterseite hat die Form einer querstehenden Arca Swiss Platte, kann dadurch z.B. mittels Smallrig DBC2506 schnell auf einem Gimbal oder Stativ befestigt werden.Besser bei Niceyrig:- Die Aussparung fuer den Kamerablitz erlaubt es, einen Griff am Kamerakäfig so weit vorne zu befestigen, dass die Kamera auch mit einem groesseren Objektiv nicht staendig nach vorne kippen will.- Die Ecke links unten ist angenehmer, wenn man den Kaefig an der linken Hand abstuetzt, um mit dieser die Blende oder Schaerfe am Objektiv einzustellen.- Die Blitzschuhhalter sind gross genug und sauber passend, um auch Zubehoer, das sich nicht selber festklemmt, daran zu befestigen.Schlechter bei Niceyrig:Es gibt einen Designfehler bei den leicht elastischen Polstern zwischen Kamera und Bodenplatte des Kaefigs. Sie sind nur in der Mitte angebracht, anstatt sowohl vorne Richtung Objektiv als auch ein paar Zentimeter weiter hinten Richtung Kamerarueckwand zu sitzen. Dadurch sitzt die Kamera zu weich im Kaefig.Ich konnte dies mit 2 Lagen eingeklebtem gaffer tape am Boden des Kaefigs ausgleichen, so dass die Kamera jetzt aehnlich stabil sitzt wie beim Smallrig cage.Insgesamt ueberzeugten mich trotz des hoeheren Preises die Vorteile des Niceyrig Kaefigs.

Sometimes I have my Canon in a hard case and some times it is in a backpack setup for nature photography. The reason I bought this was to be sure there was no added stress to the body frame when it is being carried in the backpack setup, it is a photographer's backpack, I just really appreciate the added piece of mind having this cage on my camera/baby!!

I bought this cage for my Canon 80D. Another review said it does not fit my camera, but it fits perfectly (and it fits the 70D as well). The cage is sturdy yet light, attaches and detaches with little fuss, features a pair of coldshoe mounts, and has a tripod plate built into the frame.It is perfect.
