What is the function of this switch (wall remote)
- This in-wall wired remote control is design to separately control your ceiling fan speed and light brightness.
- 4 Code switches (dip switches) to set a unique frequency (16 possible code combinations).
- 4 Buttons (High Speed, Medium Speed, Low Speed, Off).
- Light button will control the light brightness, turn the light on/Off.
Compatibility
- Compatible with the UC9050T, UC9050U CHQ9051T 53T 35T HD5 HD6 UC7078T, UC7080T, UC7083T. Remote etc., and work with R28 receiver.
- This ceiling fan wall remote control replacement of Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, Westinghouse, Litex and many more.
- Does not work with fans built-in remote-control system, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi control.
Can a 4-DIP Switch Ceiling Fan Wall Remote Control Support a 5-DIP Switch Receiver?
- No, a 4-DIP switch remote cannot directly support a 5-DIP switch receiver. The number of DIP switches determines the unique frequency code combinations. A 4-DIP switch remote supports 16 combinations, while a 5-DIP switch receiver supports 32 combinations.
- You may need to match a 5-DIP switch remote with the receiver to ensure proper communication.
- Alternatively, consult the manufacturer to confirm if the 5th switch on the receiver can be left unused or set to a default position to make it compatible with a 4-DIP switch remote.
Does it support dimming function?
- Yes! But only support light ON/OFF. If your light is LED bulbs, just can control LED bulbs’ on/off.

Function

Suitable for ceiling fan with reverse switch
Use the steps below to change the direction of your ceiling fan:
- Shut off the ceiling fan and wait for the blades to come to a complete stop.
- Using a ladder or step stool to reach the motor housing, locate the direction switch.
- Flip the switch in the opposite direction.
- Step down and turn the ceiling fan back on.
- Verify the ceiling fan blades are moving in the right direction.
HOW TO USE
- First, please set the frequency of our wall DIP switch to match the same pattern as your original remote/receiver. (Note: If you have purchased 2 sets or more to control different fans, please set the combined frequency of each set to a different frequency.)
- Before installing the remote, please cut off the power supply of the fan, and read the instructions carefully, and install the remote according to the instructions. Incorrect wire connection can damage this receiver.
- Install the wall remote in the reserved position according to the instructions.
- Our unit has 16 different frequencies for fans, so you would have to play with the combinations. Here is the frequency list:(0 is down and 1 is up) 0000, 0001, 0010, 0100, 0110, 0101, 0011, 0111, 1111, 1110, 1101, 1011, 1001, 1010, 1100, 1000

How to Install
Wall control installs easily
IMPORTANT: Fan speed and light control will not be activated by remote if pull chains for fan and light are not set to the HIGH and ON positions respectively
- The 115/120 volt/60 Hz wall control features two-wire installation for use in a standard junction box to replace an existing wall switch.
WARNING! Hook up "in series only"! Do not connect "NEUTRAL" supply wire of electric circuit to the transmitter wall switch, damage to the transmitter and possible fire could occur.
- Once you install the receiver in the ceiling fan, the wall control communicates wirelessly with the fan up to a distance of 40-feet.
- This unit can handle a fan maximum of 1 Amps and a light maximum of 300 watts. A matching wall plate is included for installation.

This is great for adding a fan that does not have several wires prewired to a switchbox. This is the second wall remote I had to get in 6 months because the failed.

Existing controller failed for a KICHLER ceiling fan. Which also required a battery. Took a gamble and this controller was compatible. And like that it's hardwired and no Neutral required. Button feel is far superior also. Still rubber but not mushy. Has a solid tactile click. The OFF/ON slide switch is bit of an eyesore, though suppose could be useful in certain situations.

A replacement for identical failed switch. Hard to find these anymore at the big box home repair stores.Update:BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND, this brand is a piece of junk, replaced twice both failed after a few months.

Replacement for OEM switch that.stopped working. Installed easily? Worked initially. 4 weeks later worked intermittently for light and stopped working for fan. 6 weeks later stopped working completely.
