Had been on the truck for just about 2 weeks now and no issues what so ever. Charges great, fit in just like the oem and belt fits in the pulley grooves great no slippage at all. No more battery light coming on randomly and no more stressing about being stranded.

Same price as other alternators on rockauto but without shipping cost. Seems to work out just fine. It's not a name brand, but $200+ from the auto store is sure not what I'm going to be doing. It's probably made in the same factory as the "store brand" parts.

Big alternator that's physically heavier than the one it replaced on our '99 Suburban, a truck I keep around for dirty hauling jobs. Power output is excellent with this unit: I'm seeing a steady 14.7 Volts output. Battery recharges quickly with high amperage flow. This is a good quality alternator.
