The are made of hardened stainless steel that has been cold-quenched to stand up to tough shooting conditions. The Carp Tip is designed for those harder scaled fish and has a more sharper defined point. The Gar Tip is designed for all the soft-fleshed fish.

These perform pretty well-they are very sharp out of the box; however, these do not seem to hold their point as well as AMS replacement tips. They tend to be a little less expensive than some other tips so there is a trade off. I would probably buy them again, keeping in mind there shortcoming.

Very nice tips but they do not fit TRUGLO points. Do not screw on far enough.

Makes Carp fishing fun and exciting. Don’t forget to take your trophies home and make some fish stew for the little ones. In the Eid later years they will think of you often with those fond memories that you only went after those fish merely to fill their little tummies.

The carp point blows through both Buffalo and Gar scales better than the muzzy gar point.

Great tip slim profile penetrates well and sharpens easily with a file. Much easier than the gar tip.
