These points are not oversized so the arrows don't snag when removing them from a target bag. I purchased these while back so I've had a chance to put them through the test pace.

Field points are a wear item, even if you're just shooting foam targets with a recurve with even a moderate draw weight. I was getting poor penetration on my bullet shaped points which had slowly lost their pointiness over time, so I was due for an upgrade. These field points are precisely machined to closely match the diameter of my standard sized 500 spine GT carbon arrows, they screwed into the inserts cleanly, and the tips are very very sharp and penetrate the target easily. There is some kind of finish coating which will prevent the steel field points from getting stuck into the aluminum arrow inserts due to galvanic corrosion. The finish also helps with pulling the arrows out of the target. I don't have a precise enough scale, but I could tell they were close enough to my current 100 grain field points and lighter than the 125 grain by shooting them side by side.

Our annual fall hunting trip has been on hold for several weeks because the weather hasn't gotten cold enough. (Today our temp is 60 degrees, far too hot to wear insulated clothing and lugging a 70lb backpack around in the deep woods). As a result, I continue to practice. On our hunt I will use a compound bow that can sling an arrow at a whopping 415 feet per second. I shoot 24" arrows with a 110 grain broadhead with the intention of taking game at distances from 40 to 60 yds and wanted to keep my practice sessions up to better my chances of filling my freezer with venison. For my purposes, and for practicing in general, the AREYCVK 100 Grains Archery Field Points are perfect. Each point is nicely defined, very sharply pointed and the 8/32 threaded section screws in securely and my practice sessions go off without a hitch.!2 of these practice tip for just $6 is a cost efficient way to learn, practice and keep your archery skills at peak performance and the AREYCVK Field Points gonna get you there.
