It didn’t hold the mulch or gravel as firmly as advertised, and I noticed it started to wear off much sooner than the promised 2 years. The application process was a bit messy, and the results weren’t impressive. Probably won’t repurchase...

Gardening can be challenging to decorate out much around shrubs and small plants because of how quickly it wears down from rainwater and windy weather. Even for pebbles, this glue kit is a handy way of sticking on decorative elements outdoors using spray on bottle. Although its meant to be watered down, spray bottles have a thin liquid of white glue that I had to DIY dilute inside bottle before spraying. Adhesion does its trick after I applied a couple even coats of it across mulch but hard to spot where it's been sprayed on. Coat also has to be sun baked for couple days to set dry otherwise it drains off into soil rapidly. At least being a thinner substance it layers across pebbles, stones and mulch keeping gardens looking neatly aligned particularly along decorative edges.

Other mulch adhesive didn't come with spray bottles, only the refill pack, so it was nice that this one had two spray bottles and gloves. We used it for pea gravel and slightly larger rocks. I like the nice shine it gives the rocks, but it really didn't do a ton to keep it from moving. We sprayed like 3 layers (letting each dry in between) and it kept everything in place for something like a windy day. Definitely won't hold it together for anyone walking over it - like pets. Cats and dogs walking over this will likely displace the gravel.

So disappointing. Spent hours applying this and it does NOT work. I can’t imagine it working on gravel if it won’t even adhere ground up rubber mulch. Don’t buy.

I used mulch glue to keep the mulch in my garden beds from blowing away, and it worked perfectly! It was easy to apply and dried clear, so it didn’t affect the look of my landscaping at all. Even after a few strong winds and rainstorms, the mulch has stayed exactly where I put it. This is a great product for anyone looking to maintain a neat and tidy garden without constantly having to replace or adjust their mulch. Highly recommend it for hassle-free garden maintenance!
