Had a larger antenna that came with the radio, as was bothersome at times when wearing on my belt, this is a perfect size and seems to work just as good. Great for in the field emergency work.

This thing is a dummy load. I know this is a stubby antenna so I kept my expectations in check. But, I have other shorter stubby antennas that can hit the same repeaters full quieting and this thing wont even open the squelch! And, it has a very narrow band of operation.

Came in as expected, the first time I ordered it they sent me the wrong item but I ended up getting the 2nd one just right. Be aware that this antenna for the radio is short-range not long. It works very well for my job.
