Installation required some basic tools and skills. I used better grommets and fabricated plates for under the truck bed. It’s solid as a rock and not going anywhere. No more hideous battery and home made brackets to look at any more!

You have to drill all the holes yourself but that’s fine. It’s easy but the size holes it told me to drill were a little too big for the grommets. It’s super sturdy though and definitely worth it.

You want to put a Group 24 battery in the trunk.This is it. It's the only real option. It's solid, it seals well, you vent it to the outside. Hardware anchors the battery and the box to the trunk floor very securely. The wiring is your problem, doesn't help you with that.It's this one, or the blue one, take your pick. I've used several of these, have two in cars I currently own and one in my trailer tongue box.

Box fits a 24 series battery perfectly. All the hardware seems to work well. Some early reviews have issues with the hold down bolts not fitting the bracket but mine has 12-point flange nuts so it fits fine. I cut the hold down to fit between the cell caps on a standard Johnson Controls 24 series so it sits flat. Everything was high quality and works great as I've come to expect from Moroso.Remember that this is a universal part meaning that you will need to do some supporting fabrication to make it fit you application.

This is it!!! Very nice battery box. Thick plastic, not flimsy. Hardware kit included is sturdy. This is a really well made sealed box! I suggest this one over the other ones that are thin walled plastic. Only thing I can find fault is putting side terminal batteries in there will be challenging. A Napa group 70 battery will fit, but installing the terminals is challenging. The distance between the battery and box is too tight. The hardware included centers the battery in the box. You cannot move the battery to the back of the box to gain more room in the front for the terminals. Therefore, I suggest you to use a top terminal battery if you use this box.
