My truck camper had one 12V marine battery already mounted in it and it became obvious that I needed another battery. The first battery was already in a Deka group 24 box, so I simply mounted the new box next to the old one. The original battery had a hook and loop retaining strap, which is very nice. The one that I bought from Amazon had a standard buckle strap, which isn't as nice, but is will work.

Nice battery box: lid snaps on and tie dow straps and brackets are included. Just what I needed.
