I personally think that the inverted grease fitting in this application is ridiculous. The grease fitting could have installed into the bottom of the mounting stud if it was drilled, the cross drilled the ball. This would have made access easier for required maintenance. Instead of having to buy special equipment to try and grease the joint.I have worked on all types of automobiles, OTR trucks, and other assorted equipment throughout my 40 plus years in the industry so I am not just blowing off steam or such.
