Lower ball joint failed after only 2 years since being installed in vehicle. This is a daily driver, not an off-road warrior. Do your due diligence, and stick with brand names, or even factory replacement.

If this was truly FOR a Jeep, then it would likely not have had the grease nipple set at the TOP of the bottom Ball Joint... Who's idea was that?? The Front CV axle cannot be installed or operate with the grease nipple installed... so right now, I have NO (ZERO) protection on the bottom ball joint... I will be calling for warranty as soon as they Ball joint starts to act up for sure... and I know full well it won't be covered... since the grease nipple was not installed... My advice... steer clear... get one that has the grease nipples recessed or hidden deeper... so that the cv axles won't get caught on them...The top ball joints are great... but I mean come on... this is a pretty big mistake in the design...Would I recommend them? Nope... not because they are bad or anything... I think they could work GREAT, IF they design flaw was fixed... so right now, it is a HARD pass and to anyone I talk to about them...

I'm replacing the steering knuckles on my Jeep Cherokee XJ and these fit and appear to be well made. They went into the knuckles without too much difficulty, but the grease fitting on one of the lower ball joints does not screw in enough to not rub while driving.
