Your cart is empty.The Monstrum Tactical Scope Ring Set is designed for mounting standard 1 inch diameter tube rifle scopes. The rings mount to any flat top Picatinny or Weaver rail equipped rifle. The rings come in Low, Medium, and High profile sizes. The low profile rings measure 0.185 inches from the base of the mount to the bottom of the rings. The medium profile rings measure 0.395 inches from the base of the mount to the bottom of the rings. And the high profile rings measure 0.7 inches from the base of the mount to the bottom of the rings. Constructed from aerospace aluminum, the rings are both lightweight and durable. Poor craftsmanship. Grit not cleaned out of threaded holes. Had to flush and oil before screws would go in smoothly. Also, scope hole not aligned perfectly, need to lap and use alignment tool, but remember, these are not $50!

These are a very good and solid set up. They aren't 5 star expensive match quality rings so I'm not going to give them a 5 star rating. They are, however, very solid and function rings that don't cost much at all. My nephew liked them enough to get a set as well.

Medium rings over factory High rings and a little bigger scopes bell 40mm to 44mm worked perfect it just clears the picatinny base mount which overhangs past the receiver to the barrel Perfectly lowered the scope with a bigger bell and just clears the longer base mount

1st Purchase: used to attach a Simmons scope. these are very nice rings. highly recommend. great price too! The scope stays solid & true on an AR15 .223/5.56 & I consistently hit paper at 100 yards without having to worry about the rings coming loose. I also did NOT use a torque wrench. I plan to purchase a torque wrench to further install these to their optimal tightness to ensure that the rings hold the scope securely for future target practice.2nd Purchase: Ok.. so this is my 2nd set of these scope rings. I really liked these on my other rifle (as listed above). This set is for a .308/higher caliber which I have not tested out yet BUT I am learning & wanted to share: Monstrum rings do not have any 'lining' inside the rings. I only noticed this b/c the cheap rings that came with the scope (which I could not use on a weaver rail) had a very thin, sticky lining. I did not take note of this with the first set of rings. I've read that the lining comes off scope rings any way whenever the scope is removed from its rings. Therefore, I separately purchased 'friction tape' which is similar to electrical tape. I will update once I put everything together & test at the range. If anyone has recommendations/suggestions regarding the use of a lining for scope rings, please comment below!
