The 65 degree angle accentuates the lines of the modbox mailbox. Now you can have a post that looks great with your mid-century, modern, and/or contemporary mailbox and home. The perfect launching pad for your Atomic Ranch. Crafted in America, the way it used to be. Patent No. US D739,115

I love this pole for a number of reasons. First it looks cool. Second, it puts the pole base back a few feet farther from the edge of the road so reduces likelihood of snowplow/snowpile damage. Ideally I think the pole could be another 6" -12" longer so as to give it better anchoring, particularly if you have a heavy mailbox like I do. What I ended up doing was setting a piece of 1-1/2" PVC pipe at the angle of the mailbox in the ground with concrete around the bottom of it. Then I slide the mailbox into the pipe and filled the pipe with some sand I had sitting around. It holds it securely, but if bumped the post and mailbox rotate away rather than bend. I didn't really anticipate this particular benefit of the angled post, but the way I have it I get the benefit of those swing-away posts, and as I mentioned before...it looks awesome. If I can ever remember I'll update my review with a photo.

It was exactly what I wanted--light, yet strong for my new mailbox.

This is a pretty heavy duty post that has a good length for a pretty deep footing. I installed this with a bag or two of cement encased in CMU. Looks great with my custom mailbox by SolPixiedust on Etsy. My only complaint is that it is a bit overpriced for my liking, especially since you have to pay for shipping as well. However, it was hit by an incompetent FedEx driver a few days ago but held up surprisingly well. It got bent and twisted a bit but I was easily able to bend it back square without much trouble. Hopefully it didn't affect the paint where it went but time will tell. I'm happy with it so far.

This post was easy to install & looks great with the mailbox. We have the modbox mailbox & numbers too. The whole set goes together very nicely & looks fantastic in the front of our house. Quality is nice & the post is sturdy.

I left a review for the mailbox, but if you looked at the mailbox then you have to get the post, too. Yes, it's expensive. But yes, it's a statement! The angles of the box are made to be accented by the post. They are well made and striking.
