The installation video online sold me. I'm a woman and could easily install the mailbox post following the video. All the parts were included and it went easypeezy. I was concerned because the ground beside the road is hard, but, the post drove in just like the video showed. It's quality is worth the money. Looks great and is really almost invisible. Staying in place very well!

We were so tired of checking our mailbox every time the plows when by. It was time to make a change. Went with the Swing Away. Went up easy. Didn’t need the extra board they sell to mount the mailbox. We put it up last year the day before a huge storm and watched from the house window. Did what it was supposed to do. Wish we would have done this sooner. Another plus when our county hwy was rebuilt the crews just lifted it off and did what they had to do. When done replaced it on the post. The construction crew made a comment wishing everyone had one of these. Would buy again.

I live on a street with no sidewalks or lights. My mailbox has been hit numerous times and this was my third and hopefully last replacement in the 7 years I’ve lived in my house. It was simple to install. I also ordered the mailbox mounting board.

Needed to get a different mailbox after snow plows blew up our old one and this is the perfect solution. Easy to install and works great. Heavy duty metal. Also comes in a rural version which is a little taller and has a longer arm and can be placed in ditches.

Unless your ground level is at or above the road surface, this will require an extension to get to the required height. The extension is not on he Amazon store. It will cost you $40 delivered (in 5 to 7 business days - they say). I find this somewhat deceptive marketing. Keep this in mind when comparing products.

Does what it's intended to do. It was a challenge to hammer while maintaining leveling using a block of wood and 5lbs maul. I do wish it had a metal plate welded to top pole. I have a huge mailbox mounted and it doesn't feel sturdy with mailbox bracket bolts in the very center of the pole.
