Bought to do a compression test on a 6.7l cummins with 124k miles, while changing all 6 injectors. Engine was running fine with an injector missing out not smoking.I expected less than perfect compression but not what this digital gauge was telling me.Cyl 1 read 16psi Cyl 2 121psi Cyl 3 130psi Cyl 4 55psi Cyl 5 138psi Cyl 6 248psi nominal spec is 350+with this kind of variance and low numbers my engine wouldnt hardly start, smoke like a freight train and have no power. did a 60 sec cylinder leak down at 120 psi and had 0 movement on any cylinders on a 2 day cold engine......ITS THE GAUGE!!!!!truck fired right up after priming and ran smoother than newDont buy this unless you plan on using an analog gauge on the kit and junking the digital

Can't handle 400 psi worth of compression. Gauge is not accurate at all. Almost sold a customer an engine he didn't need. Thankfully I used a snap on compression tester to verify only one cylinder was bad.

it would be great, if it came with a way to test fords 6.0 or 6.6. had to order more parts. but works great.

The product is built well but has No reference to the sizes of the adapters in the kit. You have to go on-line to view all the specs. Also if you try to call the factory reps it is almost impossible to get an answer in less than 2 days.

I am a professional mechanic have used this tool 2 times. The first time I condemned a $13,000 engine and replaced it. The second time the engine didn't seem to be running that bad and the numbers on the tool indicated the engine had very low compression. I verified with an analog Snap On gauge and found the readings on this tool were horribly inaccurate. I repaired a non compression issue and the engine ran great again. I contacted Mighty Vac and they informed me that they do not warranty items sold through Amazon because they are not an "approved distributor". Amazon only has a 30 day return period so you are stuck with the tool outside of the 30 day window. Don't waste your money.
