Your cart is empty. Mitsubishi Pencils Dermatograph Colored Pencils feature special leads that can be used to draw freely on glass, metal, plastic and so on, which is difficult to write with ordinary colored pencils.
In addition, the core contains wax, so it writes smoothly and does not easily scrape the lead.
The core is wrapped in a thin paper so the paper can be removed for the lead out.
Since it can be drawn on a variety of things, it can be used not only for illustrations and coloring pencils, but also for job sites.
Set of 12 colors includes brown/red/pink/orange/yellow/white/yellow/yellow/green/water/indigo/purple/black.

Runs smooth. Creamy. Only thing is i had to buy it twice because i didn't receive the first order, the package was damaged and empty! Had to pay double for one item!

CREAMY AND SMOOTH! I'm @cosmiccreature44 on Instagram and I use these in my art along with crayons and pencils for some super cool resist effects! The colors are the best...and unlike the cheapo ones(which i have bought) the paper unwraps perfectly instead of shredding!A+++

I find these pencils ideal for mark making whether on canvas, art & deli papers and even delicate rice/mulberry paper if done with care. Each color seems quite vibrant and pretty easily resistant to smudging if that is what you desire. Marks are made easily; the pencils are not too hard. I haven't tried to deliberately smudge any marks yet, but I have carefully applied a high solid gel over marks with a color shaper and did not smear any marks, nor did any marks bleed into the gel. I will probably be buying another set of these for my wife very soon.

Good pencils so far. They are brighter colors than another brand I bought on Amazon. (It does take a while to receive since it’s coming from Japan) Came well packaged with a sweet note. Quick comparison of the two brands on newspaper.

Let me start off by saying that I bought these because I was looking to try a different art supplies for coloring. I wanted something softer than a Prismacolor Premier Pencil, but something above crayons ( and I have tried some high end crayons). These fit the bill on paper, and I was using them and accidentally marked up my office desk at work, which has a plastic coating. That is what these are intended for, and the mark erased well. I experimented Marking the base of my computer monitor, and the marks came off easily there as well. The colors are super pigmented on the paper, and decently so on plastic. They are more prone to plastic bloom than Prismacolors are, but much less than crayons do. I love the weight they have in my hands, Very much like the Koh-i-noor woodless colored pencils, and they have a coating on them very much like the Faber Castel Poly-chromos. The only downside( and I might just be spoiled) is that they took a little over 2 weeks to get to me, shipping by Japan Post, and I never got a tracking number, so It was basically just a guess on when it would arrive. Aside from that though, I am satisfied with my purchase, and feel that the flexibility of the medium on which this can be used opens up many interesting possibilities.

Kudos to the stationery shop, Japan! Excellent and careful packing. I am impressed with the air bubble wrapper - thick and strong. The shop took great effort to protect the pencils for shipping.I love the colors and the pencil glides and covers the text on my books so well. (I use the pencils to understand OR as a highlighter!)THANK YOU JAPAN SHOP!!!!!!
