The actual size of the tool is ambiguously presented It is actually 1/10th of the size as it appears by literature. This is a case of Buyer be aware and read the fine print, stating the actual dimensions..

The price does not make this tool ok. #1. Small gripe: the blade is wider than the tool, making it a relatively bad option for a shoulder plane. Not a big deal considering the price. #2. Massive gripe: Upon adjusting the blade cut depth, the tool split under the pressure of tightening the blade set screw. I only tightened this finger tight. This tool is absolutely unusable.

It’s the perfect sizeThe blade won’t stay set.With the smallest cut after one or two passes the blade moves.It will be great if I can keep the blade set.

Let’s be honest, at this price point you can’t expect much out of a plane. These got the job done and were preferable over using a chisel.

After being sharpened it works as it should. It’s a little flimsy and I don’t expect it to hold an edge for long but for the price and as often as I need it I can’t complain to much. It does what it is entended you do.

Maybe I should read the description closer because this was much smaller than I expected. However, my husband loves it. He said it's perfect for edges and small places. The quality is amazing!

I have three of these, flat, bullnose and curved bottom. Great little planes for luthier work on a budget. All needed some tuning out of the box but what plane under $600 doesn’t.
