Happy all around with the purchase. The springs seem a hair soft when clamping onto something but not in a problematic way. They work fine and would buy again.

The hook mechanism works well but the hole for the multimeter leads is not the 2mm I ordered. I guess they just send whatever size they feel like. I can’t use these with my meter.UPDATE:I was contacted by seller BOCEUC and the problem was resolved by refunding the price and reordering them again.

These test leads are essential for attaching meter leads to test points without having to hold them in place by hand.

Everyone who is in to tinkering with electronics knows the frustration that comes from trying to hold something just right while simultaneously holding the test probes. We all have our workarounds, but these grabbers seem to be getting used all the time!It's a very simple premise, and I've owned a few in the past but the quality wasn't so great so they didn't last very long. Somehow over the years I lost/broke them all and after a pretty frustrating repair session, I went ahead and ordered these. They were a little more expensive than some I used in the past, but they are also very reasonably priced compared to the major brands. To my delight, the quality is much, much better than I expected. They don't feel cheap and the spring tension is just right. Do yourself a favor and pick some of these up!

Very high quality and hook is sturdy. 2mm ones will fit Brymen multimeter test leads perfectly. I think I will order another pair.

I got the 2mm set.I've had multimeters since they were all analogue. I have a couple of cheap meters now. Over time I fabricated alligator clips and other probes to deal with specific situations, especially where three hands would otherwise be needed. these probe clip adapters though work even better for many cases especially with very small wires, or connectors, or stranded wire. I expect I might lose one at some point, but even one will be useful. The materials and manufacture look good.Value at published cost: Good to very good
