I ended up returning this item. I tried to use it but couldn't fit even one skein of yarn inside. If you do lots of teeny tiny work, it would be lovely for that. The construction was great, so I was sad it was so tiny. It didn't function for the types of crochet work I do> largely scarves and blankets and such. Mostly baby blankets lately. But as I stated, I couldn't fit an entire skein of yarn in it (was just a red heart whatever skein that you see everywhere), so it was not designed for the type of work I do. The zipper worked great, the strap stayed in the set position with no slippage etc. So again, if you do like small things like those teeny toys or I dunno, maybe lace work or maybe socks? It might work for you. But anything larger than a pair of socks or that sort of weight of yarn will probably not fit. Sad, since the construction and overall design otherwise was lovely.

This bag is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be. That said, I can fit a small ball of yarn and some crochet hooks, which is what I was wanting. The hole that dispenses yarn is reinforced so I think this will hold up with continued use. I wanted something like this to take with me when I go away on weekends. The only drawback for some may be that there's no way any pattern book would fit.

This thing is tiny! I took a picture of it with a regular sized skein of Red Heart yarn in it so you can see the size difference. This would be ok if you had a small project with mini skeins of yarn. I absolutely love that it has a place for hooks in the side pocket but you probably need to use the small steel hooks for it. It’s cute tho. The straps seem to be a little cheaply made but the metal fixings are decent quality. I wish it was bigger but I can use it to take in dr appointments where I won’t be there long. I recommend it for small skeins and short trips.

This bag is smaller than the pictures but true to measurement size as advertised. It's able to fit a ball of yarn, but not the skein. If you're looking for something small to fit inside of a purse to have on the go, this is for you. If you're looking for something like a storage tote to fit a lot of yarn and your crocheting tools, this isn't for you. It's solidly built though, and the zippers work well.

This is an adorable little yarn bag, perfect for a single ball of yarn, especially if you pull from the center. The hook/needle slots on the sides are a little small, they will only fit regular hooks, not ergonomic, but I'm going to try to rip out some of the stitching with a seam ripper so that my ergo hooks will fit as well. It's too small to fit your project with the yarn, but if you're working on something small, or have another bag to carry the WIP, it won't be a problem. I like that it has a couple of carrying options, both a long shoulder strap, and a wrist strap. The material feels like it may be waterproof as well, which is nice. There are 2 open side pockets, with elastic slots for hooks/needles/scissors, and a small zippered pocket on the front for supplies.Overall this is just super cute and I'm loving it!

My wife is getting ready to go on a girls trip, and wanted to have a travel bag that would help keep her yarn organized one skein at a time. This little bag holds her tools, fits in a carry on, and very easily allows her to work on pieces of a large project, or finish a small project one piece at a time.I will be getting her another, and getting some of her friends them as well. This is great!!
