Got this for the wife as a present, so she has not received it yet. But what I can tell you is, the bowl is good quality, there are no nicks or rough spots on it to catch the yarn, when pulling it from the bowl. The design is classy yet simple. We can update once the bowl has been given to her. I think she would recommend it whole heartedly.

I have a couple of Lenny Mudd yarn bowls, but I don't like to leave home with them because I'm worried that they will get broken. And ask much as I love them...I have cats and there is a lot of dust were I live...which is why I choose this one...it comes with a lid.This is a nice yarn bowl...I could find no rough edges that would snag my yarn. Because it is a smaller size, it won't hold larger cakes...good for light Worsted, DK or lighter weight yarns.And because my cats are sneaking, I found a thick rubber band.
