These bits are great for doing electrical work. They fit perfectly in the screws in electrical outlets and switches so you can tighten them down properly without any walkout.

I looked at my local ACE hardware and the Home Depot for these; all I could find was a 15-1 combo screwdriver for $25. I already have the screwdriver (which came with a bunch of bits but not this one).I do occasional homeowner electric (switches, sockets, etc), and this bit fits the connectors very well. It's not required (you can also use a slotted or philliips) but this makes the job much easier.Oddly, this bit came in a large box stuffed with brown paper - could have fit in an envelope. Ah, well, the holidays are coming - it's a good box to send stuff to my kids.

Cool tool, was aware that this bit existed. Always struggled getting these screws in/out of the socket fixtures. Now they are much easier. Worth the investment!

Perfect fit for standard outlet screws. No more fumbling around with a Phillips that doesn't fit

As with all of the Milwaukee bits that I have purchased in the past, these are excellent.

A tight fit on the electrical device. Cumbersome to use because of the exact fit of the bit to the electrical device.

I love these bits. They are perfect for electrical work. No one else makes these but Milwaukee. Electrical panel screws often take these size bits. One of them can easily screw and unscrew a panel and the other fits perfectly into the screws in receptacles. Keep in mind it's hard to fasten receptacle screws with a drill so best to use these on a quality hex bit screwdriver. So if you already own a really good one than you can simply add these to your bit collection.

Drew a little blood after trying to get an awkwardly placed receptacle's screws good and tight on a high current circuit, using a flat blade screwdriver. The only tool choices I was aware of at the time were:1) Phillips; wants to cam out.2) Flat blade; can apply more torque than Phillips but prone to slip out the side (hence the blood).- I didn't realize a Robertson screwdriver would have worked.Anyway, after I got these ECX bits I went back over all the receptacles on the high current circuit, and got the screws on all them significantly tighter than I had previously. No hint of cam out or wanting to slip, it stayed solidly in the screw head, the only limitation on torque was my own meager strength.Haven't tried a Robertson on them, as I only found out that was an option at the same time I discovered and ordered the ECX bits, but I'd guess the ECX are superior as the flat blade portion should be able to apply more leverage as it extends to the reach to the outer edges of the screw head. Meanwhile the Robertson portion keeps it firmly centered. Wonderful. The only potential problem I can think of would be a really strong person might be able to strip the threads or break off the screw head!Anyway these things are terrific, just wish I'd known about ECX sooner.
