Thus far I’ve had no issues. One has come a bit loose from the actually centering device but was a simple fix by tightening the screw. Great for precision holes.

I went to use this vex bit to install a piano hinge. The first time it set the hinge off center. So then I took it apart and the spring was mashed in. Now I have to spend money to get a new spring for which I shouldn’t have to buy.The response was fast as well as a replacement set. Good customer service was either Amazon or manufacturer.

I had bought a set of 3 hinge bits and my issue with them was the barrel on the larger bit was not wide enough to center the bit in the hole. A centering bit that does not center is not very useful. These seem to have a progressively larger barrel are the drill size gets larger. I have only used the smallest size so far. I wish it would drill a deeper hole. Works fine and great to have the set come with extra bits and a case.

Idk how it could get so many 5 stars reviews but my set is the worst. Every single bit is dull so it's super difficult to drill any holes. First bit I used got stuck after 3 holes and now it's useless because spring got stuck between drill bit and that part that goes up and down. Maby it's just my set but I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone, even if you would use it once in a while.

I built this bookcase to have variable shelving, so used the VIX bits and a jig to align the holes so I could place the shelves wherever I wanted them. I like that fact that they come with additional drill bits so as they ware out, I can just use one of the replacement bits.You may have to zoom in to see the holes drilled on all the inside boards, but it came out really well.
