WHISTLE FREE
- Multi-pattern corrugation disrupts the vibrations that cause whistling
- Make sure there are no major bends or kinks in the line (90-degree bends will cause whistling).
- Use correct gas pressure. Too high pressure can result in whistling even with the correct line.

I just did a fire pit in my house with natural gas. I went to HD and got the standard yellow appliance connections and when I fired up the pit it was whistling insanely loud. If I kept the valve below let’s say 60% it was fine, all you would hear is the sound of the gas flowing. Once I got past that threshold it would get progressively louder, and at 100% it was crazy loud. I ordered these lines and the whistle is completely gone. Now you still hear the sound of flowing gas, which sounds like hissing air. Strangely it gets quieter the more you open the valve. Anything less than 80% you can hear the hiss and it gets louder the lower you set the flame. But it does not whistle, that’s the key point. I don’t think there is a way to get rid of the hissing, but it doesn’t bother us at all.

I installed it with less than 90 degree bending and bent only at the points shown. Used on triple ring gas firepit ring with yellow gas line. It still whistles when turned up about 70% or higher. I can live with it.

Needed this for a pool heater and it worked out just great. Had to have one that's outdoor rated and this fit the bill. Very satisfied.

I wish I could have found this diameter with half inch connections, but with the eight and reducers it works fine. No whistle whatsoever anymore, so very happy.

Used this to connect a 250k BTU inground pool heater. Worked great as blackpiping the final 3 feet would have been a pain.And I was able to create smoother bends than black pipe. Very happy, came with all the connections I needed. I did put 4 inch black pipe from heater regulator to this flex pipe.
