I’m not a ballet dancer, but it’s fun to practice balance and turns on this thing. I’ve used it solo and with a partner, and it’s great fun either way. While the surface has subtle texture and grooves for grip, I’d still recommend wearing shoes to stay securely on the turner.It’s made of two thick aluminum plates with a smooth, stable ball bearing in the center. The blue color is attractive, and overall it feels well made and durable.
