I used this with my DeWalt 1/2” impact driver once. While it worked fine, I cannot open it back up to release the bit. I have used a vise, channel locks, vise grips, and other tools and I cannot get it to release. I will have to destroy it to retrieve my bit. It was nice to have, but I will it buy another one. Frustrating!

These have alot of run out.mine is probly fine for rough stuff ,large bits. One will need to center Chuck with hand to reduce the wobble. Shame is it looks good.Will try to shim with aluminum foil.

I was surprised how smooth the chuck works when tightening and loosing. Haven't used it yet but expect it will hold up for my needs

After using decided would replace chuck on drill with this and can't tear it apart to use it's solid as heck now that it's been used. Very good quality.... Easy to release bit with little effort of course
