Good value if you have 3 drills wo chuck keys. I buy tools on FB Marketplace and the drills usually don't have chuck keys.

I have an old Craftsman floor model drill press. This key fits perfectly. I had an issue finding the right key as the center hole in the chuck is only 1/4”. Most keys with the right size and number of teeth have a 3/8 center pin and didn’t work. But this one is perfect, no more banging my knuckles or not having the bit tight enough!

Although overpriced (cost almost $10) it's a fine 2 piece DeWalt metal chuck key however it wouldn't fit my DeWalt DW511 hammer drill. The chuck key had a 1/4" pilot hole diameter which was too big for my chuck (15/64") and also a bit longer. When I discovered that I would be charged shipping for returning chuck key (about $5 ~ half the cost of key) I decided to keep it and modify it to work for me. I certainly didn't want to repeat researching and order another potentially wrong key problem. After about ten minutes of careful filing, measuring, fitting & refiling it seems to work fine on my drill. I was lucky that both dimensions - diameter & length - were slightly bigger so I could slowly take off excess to make it fit. Lesson learned - Measure & know your chuck pilot hole dimensions before buying.

I bought this product as I lost the chuck key from my 1/2 Dewalt drill and needed a replacement. This product appears to be an exact replacement of the chuck that came with the drill and works perfectly. The reason I am not giving this a 5 star rating is 2 fold:- The price seems expensive for what you get- Does not come with a rubber chuck holder; without a way to attach the chuck to the drill you may find yourself replacing this again.
