I mount this on the wall of my ice fishing house. I can quickly pump cold lake water into a stove pot and always keep warm water to melt slush on cold days.

This little submersible pump works well and is compact and light weight. It fits into a six inch water tank opening no problem. I have used it a couple of times and it has worked great. The plastic elbow over the hose is awkward and didn't work for what I am using it for so I carefully cut it off. It would be better if it just had a higher quality kink resistant hose.

I attempted to use this to pump water for portable misting system for a 10X10. Worked well but the battery life while being operated is approximately 15 minutes only.

Bought to transfer in/out water between 35gal watering wagon tank and a rain barrel. This pump was easy to setup and move around for transfer between the barrel and the tank and aids watering from the wagon to our plantings. One charge of 4ah battery works well for at least a couple of 35gal tank transfers or watering dumps

My allotment neighbour bought Bosch pump. Looking almost the same, but I would have to spend 3 times more for it as I don't have even 1 battery or charger from Bosch.Still, I was surprised by it. Sure, can't compare quality of both. This one is way more cheap plastic, and battery holder don't have any kind of lock. But it is doing what it should. Water pressure is fine, makes my life on my allotment a lot easier. I am only hoping it will last. If something gonna happen I will let you guys know.

i gave this pump a 1 star rating because neither Amazon nor Mellif make it clear that it will not start pumping on its own when it is submerged & detects water. Amazon says on the website that it has automatic water detection & calls it a sump pump , this leads me to believe that it will start pumping on its own when it is submerged & detects water , however that is not the case. i had no complaints with the pump itself , it worked just fine , but i feel that the advertising is misleading.
