We needed to add some recessed lights to our kitchen and glad we came across this item. The holesaw itself is perfect for 4 inch recessed lighting. The plastic cup saved us so much time by catching the drywall dust after each holes are made and prevents them from going all over the place. Comes with multiple drill bits just in case one of the bits is dull.

Did the jobLights were a perfect fit The only downside is that the plastic cover cracked at the seams and dust came out. Still did a good job.

This hole saw gets the job done. Its a little slow starting out but once it gets going it works fine. I got this hole saw for cutting holes for under eave flood lights. It appears to be decent quality and should hold up over time. Not real fond of the red color, but that doesn't really matter in terms of functionality. The wood shavings collector bowl works fine.

I needed to cut some perfectly sized circles for a LED project I am working on. This product made this process simple and easy compared to a jig saw. I cut 24 circles out of some 3/4 inch plywood with not real sign of dulling. The included dust cover looks like it would work well. My project came out perfect thanks to this product.

MAZING 6 Inch Bi-Metal Hole SawI have been cutting holes for 6 inch can lights in both sheetrock and acoustic ceiling tile.I use a dagger saw for the sheetrock ceilings. I mark precise holes and the stupid saw just wanders around. Not around, more like everywhere. And I know, it is a poor carpenter that blames his tools. The more corrective action that I take, the more dust that settles on the floor. What doesn’t make it to floor is intercepted by me. I end up looking like someone on “Lucy” during a battle in the bakery. The one that stands up at the wrong time and gets a face full of flour. The acoustic tile, I can do on a bench. No problem there, but if I am not careful, the tile can break. Ask me how I know.I save containers. Lots of them, much to the chagrin of my wife. But they all find a purpose. I took a lid from a home baked pie, directly from the grocery store. It’s one of the clear plastic ones. I cut a six-point star out of the center that is slightly smaller than this hole saw. I used Gorilla tape to adhere it to the back of the saw with the ‘fill up’ side up towards the ceiling, being careful to center it. I punched a hole in the center of the place I want my new 6-inch hole. Using the slowest speed that I can, I put the pilot of this saw in the hole I punched and slowly cut the hole. I need to repeat: SLOWLY. Done correctly, most of the dust is caught in the pie pan lid. If you go too fast, dust is slung to the far corners of the room. Ask me how I know. When I do it without a mistake, there is a perfect hole with no clean up. This thing makes me look good!I took a broken acoustic ceiling tile and cut four holes with this saw, not a single crack. That hand saw must have been defective. Just let the tool do its work and don’t force it.Getting this hole saw has fed me some serious crow. I am over, “I don’t need a hole saw…”Of course, this one gets 5 stars.

An extremely well made hole saw with a top quality arbor mechanism. The hood will work for cutting drywall for disk lights without much of a mess.

The MAZING 6-1/4 Inch Hole Saw Dust Bowl Kit is an excellent tool! The 6.25-inch hole cutter is perfect for recessed and can lights, and it cuts through wood and drywall with ease. The bi-metal design ensures durability, and the included dust bowl catcher keeps the workspace clean, which is a huge time-saver. The arbor with drive pins is a standout feature—it keeps the hole saw securely attached and adds an extra layer of safety. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality kit that delivers great results. Highly recommended!
