Its waterproofing isideal for navigating in rain or splashes. Its screen is clear even on a sunny day. I installed it without anyproblems; I'm happy with the purchase.

I reallylime the size of this head unit. I'm adding a stereo to a pontoon. This is small where it takes up little space. It connects easily to Bluetooth for music streaming. The USB output allows you to load up a USB thumb drive with music files too.The radio is sleek looking with the black and chrome. The buttons respond well. The different stereo functions are controlled with different methods using the same buttons. I rigged up old speakers temporarily, and it sounds nice. Better speakers will result in good sound. It offers plenty of power for my needs.

I am redoing the dash on my center console and decided to add in a stereo for a little enjoyment to and from my fishing spots. I hooked this up and it sounded decent to my 4 6x9 speakers. But it wasn't very loud. When I am underway the noise can get a little loud. It drowns out the stereo. I have since added an amplifier and antenna for the FM radio. This has drastically improved the quality. The Bluetooth from my phone connects easily to it. I have added a 32gb Flash drive loaded with the music I like for when I am out of range of a good radio signal. The mount that came with this unit didn't quite fit right for my liking. I fabricated one with some scrap aluminum bar and it secures better now.
