First off I wanted to like this product. It was cheaper than others and had all the cool functions I was looking for. This is 3.5” wide. Different than other mounts which accept 3” wide. After hooking up I was getting ground noise coming from the speakers which I didn’t have before with my older unit. Rewired made the ground wire shorter with no avail. Bought a name brand unit for 3x the cost and problem solved. Bad internal wiring/ soldering is my guess. Also volume knob takes a bit of force to turn and options and menus are extremely limited. Would buy again if it worked properly but my new DS18 MRX1000 is better quality.

This is one excellent and compact receiver in my opinion! I had a similar device that went bad in my RV, and this unit was the perfect replacement solution. It was a little different in size but still fit into the opening from the old unit with some minor modifications. The wiring was all there, so it was just a matter of changing it over to the new unit. I like that this receiver has AM, FM, and Bluetooth, and they all work very well. I also like that I can connect external amplifiers if I decide to do that later. The sound quality is very good, and it is simple to operate with the display being easy to read and navigate. Overall, I am very happy with this unit as a replacement receiver, so it earns my five star blessing and recommendation for sure!

Adequately waterproofed, simple connection, good control:This product is nicely waterproofed and can withstand torrential rain or mist/water from waves that splash onto the boat. The product is relatively simple to install and doesn't require any overly complicated wiring, allowing for a quick setup of the product. The bluetooth connection is simple to make and has so far been pretty reliable and consistent, offering good sound transmission. Once installed and connected, the device is pretty intuitive to use and simple to control, with several simple buttons and a digital display making the controls very easy to navigate.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.
