This Bluetooth receiver is great for outdoor use! It’s waterproof, which makes it perfect for marine environments, and the audio quality is excellent. The rechargeable handheld microphone works well for karaoke or outdoor events, and the 30-foot range is impressive. A solid, reliable choice for outdoor audio setups.

I installed this into the dash of our boat console. It already had a knockout for the overpriced factory version of a similar style of radio. Overall, I am pleased with this radio. It connects to our phones Bluetooth easily and provides quick simple control. The sound output is as expected considering the limited power of this (or any) head unit.The mic and p.a. function of this unit is a feature that most do not need or would use. The unit is worth considering despite this minor issue. So far this unit has functioned well and has proved its value.My only concern is how the buttons will hold up over time. The soft material and labeling may wear over time. Time will tell.

I love the wireless PA. I am a DIYer who loves to build and fix stuff. One of my hobbies is building solar powered battery kits. I have a solar kit in my car, shed, and gazebo. I am always looking for low current 12v devices to add to my builds. I like to use devices with a low power draw so they don't eat up the battery. This Bluetooth stereo is perfect for my needs. I like its compact size so I can easily fit it into a battery box, toolbox, or any other build. I plugged this into my watt meter to see how much power it would draw. Even with the volume almost maxed out, it only drew about 3.5 watts. I'm going to power this with 2 small 12v 10ah Lifepo4 batteries. This will give me 12v 20ah. Volts times amps equals watts. 12v x 20ah = 240w. 240w divided by 3.5w = 68. That means I can run this radio on my compact batteries for 68 hours without sun give or take. As long as the sun shines and I have a solar panel connected, the battery will never die. I like that the wires are clearly marked, and it comes with an easy to read manual. Setting this up is very simple. Personally, I will mostly be connecting through bluetooth. You do have an option to connect through RCA, 3.5 aux, or USB. The stereo sounds great. This is definitely a great system for people who are running off of battery power. It has a very small power draw. I really like the blue backlight. You can easily see the buttons day or night. What sets this apart from others is the wireless microphone. This is a great little addition when I host movie nights. It would also be great for a boat, car, ATV, etc... You have your own little PA system. When you engage the mic, the music will turn down automatically. This set also included mounting hardware for the rechargeable wireless mic.

The Waterproof Marine Microphone and Receiver by Velex, provides wonderful performance. It has worked great with Bluetooth connection, wireless operation up to 30ft and a very solid sound that has been trouble free. The quality is very nice with a higher quality feel and smooth buttons. The installation was relatively easy and as expected without issues. It connects easily every time and provides a clear voice through the handheld microphone.Overall, I’m very happy with this set-up. It’s worked great for my needs and continually provides flawless performance. I’ve set it up on my boat as both an easy and convenient way to play music and as a CB radio as well. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. I got this for my old jet boat I'm restoring. I wanted something that didn't take up a lot of space, easy to use, and had Bluetooth functionality so I could play music wirelessly from my phone. I bench tested this little player and it works beautifully. It was super easy to pair with and I started playing music through it as soon as I pressed the play button on my phone. I tried out the wireless mic and that works fine. I tried the volume buttons on the mic and didn't really notice a difference so I'm not sure if they control the mic volume or the radio volume? I can adjust the volume directly on the player or through my phone. Sound quality is great. It has USB and 3.5mm aux input wires and LR channel RCA and speaker outputs. The RCA connectors have a nice cover over them but the speaker wires had exposed wire on the ends so if you don't use them, make sure to cover them with some shrink tubing or clip the ends to prevent a short. Ieasured the mounting nut thread depth and it looks like you could mount this in a panel up to 7/8" thick. The mounting depth is approximately 2.25". I was able to play music with my phone over 30 ft away in a other room without a problem. Overall this is a great little audio player and is going to work perfect in my boat.
