This is a solid cardioid pattern microphone package. It does a good job of mitigating off axis sound. It has an included shock mount which does well at mitigating arm movement. USB C is the only option in today’s connected work of accessories. The XLR is solid and allows you to use it with your existing mixer setup too! The sound is a bit different depending on your preamp through XLR but it is essentially equivalent with the right mix. Top notch quality for sure! It sounds great compared to my Shure. The wind screen works great for filtering out the plosives. The onboard controls are intuitive and helpful for getting your settings set quickly. Mute button makes it easy to know if your live or not. The microphone is sturdy and has a good heft to it for mitigating movement sounds. The software is decent. I couldn’t get the EQ to take. It didn’t seem to make any difference. The AI mic runs as a service in the task bar and doesn't let my computer go to sleep. I uninstalled the app and probably won’t use it.

While Maono is a brand name, there is no model number PD300XT outside of this listing, best I can tell. That means this is a PS300X that retails at half the cost. The mic itself is fine though.

I am in love with this mic and the heavy duty stand. The stand base itself is a cast iron base which will definitely keep your mic in place, there are two rods to help you lengthen or raise your mic up, the swivel on the mic head itself is smooth moving. You can only move it up and down but it moves very smoothly to get the angle that works best for you.The cord is nice and long, I am sure you could find a longer one if needed, the instructions are straight forward whether you're a beginner or deal with mics all the time. My friend and I are looking to record family history stories to pass on the future generations since we are in a tech boom that we are able to do so. I think this mic will be a great addition to our recordings and making sure our stories make it across clearly. I love this mic, I am more excited about this mic than others. I love everything about it and it picks up sound so incredibly well. Again whether you're a beginner or have been using mics long, this could be a great starter or replacement. Love it, highly recommend!!

At this price point, the mic is pretty nice. The metal base and stand is of great quality. Obviously you need to tinker with the setting based on your environment. But as for sound quality, it's almost as good as my Shure mic.

This mic is great. I have a Blue Yeti, and this mic actually out performs it. The sound is crisp, no static or feedback, no popping. You can change the sound mode to suit your needs. The software is easy to install and setup and provides a ton of options to fine tune the sound. There are adjustments in the software for things like Gain and Noise Gate. There's also a full equalizer. If you're not familiar with mic settings, there's preset options too: Podcast, gaming, recording, or streaming. There's even a voice record option right in the app. For content creators, this is the mic to have! It sounds like you're right there in the room with me. The mic and stand comes with two small poles. I only used one of them and two was way too high. I also use this mic for Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings while working from home, and my colleagues love how it sounds. There's an XLR port on the back to connect sound boards, speakers, and more. This mic could literally be used in a studio. Have you ever listened to a podcast on YouTube, Spotify, or Pandora. This mic sounds just like them, maybe even better. I like that you can plug this into your phone too, though I doubt I'll ever use that feature. The only con I can provide is that unfortunately my Blue Yeti will probably never get used again.

OK, so that’s not entirely true. But this makes my voice sound deep and clear in the same way the high-res camera makes the gray streaks in my hair look blonde and fabulous. It’s unlike anything you’ve used in most corporate environments. Whether you are a full-time podcaster, gamer, or executive who wants to sound better on calls, this is the one.PROs:(+) Set up was easy - it took 3 minutes and the device was not only installed to its proprietary software, but the default for the other programs where it matters (e.g., Zoom).(+) Sound quality is amazing.(+) Adjustability and the soundboard are awesome and beyond my skill level to describe. But it has idiot-proof modes, as well, so it’s perfect.CONs:(-) It’s gigantic. I was using it at the level appropriate for my sitting height and it looked like the was a nerf football in my view. I knocked it down to the shorter base and it works perfectly for my needs now.(-) The proprietary software takes up something like 700 MB.Overall, this is a great value for a high-end piece of gear. I definitely recommend it.
