I would love to just give this a one start. Just get the wireless one. I thought the wired one would be better since its a direct connection but the sound feel empty.

For My son’s graduation party we got a jbl party box speaker along with this jbl microphone. The Microphone was used for speeches, karoke etc.. It was very easy to connect to the speaker and the sound wasn’t muffled when speaking. The quality and build was unbelievable, cord length longer than needed. And overall a great microphone for the price. Would recommend highly!!

Creo que para mejorar el sonido deberías tener también el parlante de la misma marca

Works great for parties. Bought it to go with the partybox 310 and setup / use is easy easy. Love the power button on the handle too so you can turn off when not in use without fooling with the cords.Only thing is, amazon kept sending me used ones. 1 of 3 was actually new as advertised and not a rebox. Finally gave up and got my second one direct. Mic is awesome though. Jbl makes awesome party products!!!

This mic was paired with a JBL Party Box 300. It definitely got the job done. The sound from the mic was crisp and clear and there was no unnecessary feedback. An excellent value for the money.

The JBL speaker microphone is an absolute gem! I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The sound quality is superb, producing crystal-clear audio with impressive bass for its size. It effortlessly fills a room with music, making it perfect for gatherings or outdoor adventures. The microphone function works flawlessly, making it a versatile device for conference calls or karaoke sessions. Pairing it with my devices was a breeze, and the Bluetooth connectivity is rock-solid.Its sleek design and durable build make it not only functional but also stylish. The battery life is impressive, lasting for hours on a single charge. In short, the JBL speaker microphone is a 5-star performer in both audio quality and functionality. It's a must-have for music enthusiasts and professionals alike.

It’s just a waste of money! They deliver defective product and it’s totally not working! No wonder why POD option is not available for this product. They’re just trying to deceive you by sending defective products. Believe it or not!

For $50, I was hoping this microphone would be reasonably decent quality. The mic itself has a standard XLR connector, like every other professional mic on the planet, but comes with an XLR-to-TS (yes, UNBALANCED) connector to allow you to plug it in to the JBL Partybox Encore's 1/4" jack input. Since this isn't a review of the Partybox Encore I will only say that the decision to use such a lame microphone connector on the unit, and then sell you an XLR-fitted microphone, is pretty weird. Once connected to the unit, you discover immediately that the microphone input's audio is covered in a thick layer of cheesy reverb, which apparently is appropriate for karaoke singing or something. It turns out you CAN disable this feature, but you have to download the JBL Partybox app to do it -- JBL only says there are "advanced" features available via this app, so I suppose that tells you something about who this product is aimed at. In any case, assuming you are merely looking to use your Partybox and this microphone as a Karaoke box, you would certainly be forgiven for thinking they might make a priority of reducing handheld mic noise (that is, "handling noise" -- the rumbling you get when a microphone is moved around in the user's hand). Instead, with this mic, unless you hold it ABSOLUTELY STILL (perhaps on a mic stand (sold separately)) and DO NOT TOUCH IT, your performances are going to feature a LOT of low end rumble and crackling sounds (particularly if you have the Bass Boost feature enabled, which will make it worse). And forget using this microphone if you're planning to use the unit as a PA -- it's way too noisy and it will drive your audience crazy. If you are looking for a quieter handheld mic, I'd suggest picking up a workhorse mic like the Shure SM-58 (there is a model with an on/off switch, if you need it) for about $100. The sound quality will be radically better. In my case, I decided to try this unit with one of my wireless microphones (a Sennheiser wireless G4), and, once you've shut off the cheesy reverb, the Partybox sounds JUST FINE as a portable, PA unit. I guess the bottom line is -- don't let the quality of this mic turn you off using the Partybox as a PA -- the Partybox is great for that purpose, but it will cost you a little more and require some tweaking in the settings.
