I ordered new but got a used one in a bag. I was really excited for this mic but when it showed up in a bag and without the original box with none of the extras that come with it I am very disappointed. Not to mention the foam has spots on it and dog hair. This was supposed to be new and I was sent a used product. The pictures show the spots on the foam and the bag that it came in.Edit: they did send me a new one and made it right so I’m changing my review to 4 stars as it was a very easy process and they sent me a new one like I originally ordered I got to test the mic and it is a very clean and crisp sound and sounds really good. Looks great in my streams too and I got a lot of compliments about it too.

Con un amplio rango de captación de la voz, vamos a conseguir grabaciones claras y nítidas por la alta frecuencia de muestreo y en este caso con un sistema de cancelación activa de ruidos de fondo y no deseados.. El micrófono nos ofrece una capsula de condensación con tasas de muestreo de 24 bits y hasta 48 KHz, unas cifras que lo sitúan en rangos medios-alto de calidad. Con una espuma de atenuación y un cono de recepción del sonido en cardiode, donde la recepción del sonido se realiza en su parte frontal.. La conexión del mismo es bastante completa, con un puerto USB C para conectar directamente a un PC o tableta y posibilidad de conectar con sistema XLR, mas habitual en sistemas profesionales de sonido. El puerto USB C consigue alimentación para todo el sistema, ofreciendo de esta forma la iluminación RGB de su parte inferior.. El fabricante nos ofrece un software especializado para configurar desde nuestro ordenador las principales opciones de rangos de captación, modificar los niveles de funcionamiento y distintas posibilidades. Bastante completo y de muy sencillo uso. MUY INTERESANTE y completo.. En la parte de controles y puertos adicionales, tenemos un potenciómetro principal para la modificación de la ganancia del micrófono, además de un botón de silencio. En la parte inferior, al lado de los conectores USB C y XLR, tenemos también un jack de 3.5mm para conectar unos auriculares adicionales directamente.. Se ha incluido también un sistema activo de cancelación de ruido y sonidos de fondo no deseados. Una forma de mejorar en gran medida la nitidez y calidad del audio grabado con el mismo y una forma de reducir los sonidos de fondo de ventiladores, ordenadores o dispositivos que tengamos funcionando en la misma habitación. EXCELENTE RENDIMIENTO. La parte de iluminación RGB es bastante suave y delicada, nada estridente y con posibilidades de varias la potencia y tonalidades desde el mismo software del fabricante o mediante el botón inferior de iluminación. Destacable su funcionamiento con efectos de degradados, cambios de color y diversas opciones de configuración.Un micrófono que en la parte de rendimiento de captación podemos situarlo en un rango medio, con cosas mejorables como una mejor captación a más distancia, pero otras de alto nivel como la excelente frecuencia de rango y la cancelación de ruido activa incluida. The Maono PD100X is a beautiful, highly effective, efficient microphone connected directly to a PC via USB or to a mixer like Maono G1 NEO via XLR. Depending on the application, the versatility of USB and XLR connections are a great plus for this microphone.The microphone has a definite fun appeal. The light patters add that a fun dimension that is quite mood inducing: from calm to excitement. The mic with stand is light weight and sits nicely on my desk.Although specifications are important, I relied on listening to the recordings through noise canceling headphones. First was a direct connection to the MacBook Air via USB. The gain is just below maximum level and several sample recordings. The next samples are through the Maono G1 NEO via XLR adding just a touch of reverb for a little depth. All samples are recorded on Voice to make mp3’s for later insertions in iMovie, etc.Listening carefully to both samples, I was impressed with the sound reproduction and tonal depth. With the adjustment in the mixer while adding a music track, the playback voice is better than my own. The clarity, accuracy and the crispness of the playback is very clear. This rivals the Shure mic I use for voice overlays in my videos but at 1/3rd the cost. I bought this mic to do a podcast with a friend. While the audio quality was great, the software wouldn't recognize my mic. Alicia in customer service quickly replied to my email asking for help, and after determining my model and serial number, sent me a replacement right away! I just hooked it up and confirmed the mic and the software are both working fine. great product, great customer service!

I appreciate that it has an XLR connection and also the option for USB. As a point for improvement, the weight is too light, which affects its stability on the desk. Additionally, this model is now made of plastic instead of metal, which might explain its lightness. Overall, I really like it, and it has become my primary microphone, which I use all day due to my remote work.
