Your cart is empty. The Rockville pro mic kit 1 was created in response to a need we saw in the market for a very high quality microphone at an affordable price. We feel there are a lot of good mics around from reputable brands that sound great, but they are very expensive. When we looked at the cheaper ones on the market from both reputable and entry level brands; we were not impressed. We sent our product developers on a mic testing journey. A lot of our employees here at Rockville love to do karaoke, so it was not long before we found a mic that we all fell in love with!
You may be asking yourself; so what makes this mic so good? Well, there are 3 main components that make a mic sound the way it does. The cartridge, the magnet, and the mic cable. Our mic uses an M-56 cartridge which has a neodymium magnet. This Particular combination of components supplies better sensitivity; which means your mouth will not have to be on the mic for it to pick up the sound. Our components supply more than Just a great pickup pattern, They also has very little background noise, and great tone.
We pay a lot of attention to detail. We could have saved lots of money and got our cost down by including a cheap cable, but we know how important the cable is. We are very Passionate about our products and we really have a lot of respect for our customer’s standards. For this reason, we included in this package a 100 % OFC copper cable. There is no aluminum in this cable! This means the cable will last longer and will sound A Lot better. Ultimately what you get Is a distortion free signal. In addition we use a true gauge mic cable with proper thickness.
The body of the microphone is also something we paid a lot of attention too. We did not want it to be too light and feel cheap. We made a nice solid metal microphone. It has a great feel to it. We could have went with plastic or cheaper metal, but we wanted to create a mic that we ourselves would want to use.

Solid microphone, sturdy cords and connections, nice carrying case. The mic stand is a little short for my singer (6'0") but for the price, we really couldn't have asked for better.

Our daughter loves music, so we got her this mic and stand to play around with and sing. It is seriously like a professional mic and stand! We have a nice speaker to plug into and the mic/stand has held up great. Our daughter is autistic and can be a bit rough, but this is proving to be the best 40 bucks we have spent on something for her to play with in a long time. She LOOOOVES it!!! She looves to hook it up, get a ukelele and play her own songs in the mirror, it has been really fun for all of us :)

I don't know how everyone can say this stand is a good value and durable. It's made of the worst plastic that breaks if you try to stand it up. The first one sent to me was already broken and wouldn't stand up. Replaced it and the second one broke immediately. DON'T BUY THIS STAND.

I read the reviews carefully and really wanted something that could last through quarantine being used by a small child. My 18 month old son has never met a microphone he doesn't like. When church closed down a few months ago he lost access to the only real mike he would get to use. His colorful, battery-powered toy ones don't cut it for him any more, so I ordered this for him to use at home. He uses it at least once a day and he's a little rough with it. I didn't believe I could get something this durable for the cost of a meal out. But it is very sturdy, not kid-like at all. I'm not sure how high the sound quality is because (a) its just hooked into a spare guitar amp, (b) the venue is small, and (c) how well can an 18 month old sing? But if he does break it, I'll be skipping a meal out and ordering another one just like it instead.

I like how everything you need is in this kit. The mic sounds very good and is very worth buying if you can't buy other expensive equipment and mic. If you're a musician like me and you see that it doesn't include a boom. Just buy one separately. Also, to save you some time and rage, use a coin to take out the copper of the mic clip to adjust it to a boom. I was about to buy an adapter but no need. Your welcome.

The stand if pretty cheap and is too short for anyone over 5'9 but the value of the complete package makes up for it, sound quality is great, 2 cables and a bag cant go wrong really

We use our mic for karaoke at home with a toddler ... lots of fun, and durable enough for him. The cord is a little flimsy compared to my other mic. For what we use it for it's awesome, and hooked up to the right amp gets sound.

This set is about the best you're gonna get for the price. The mic is nice and heavy and doesn't feel like it's made of cheap materials. It sounds better than most karaoke mics for the same price and is nice and loud allowing some distance between the mic and your face lol. The stand is tall enough for most people and can be adjusted very easily. I'm 6' 1" and have no problems with the height. The cable is separated into two parts so if you need longer cable-length it's not an issue. The carry bad is decent enough and fits everything adequately. If your're looking for a new karaoke mic and don't wanna spend big money on a more expensive mic, this is for you.
