Love the buckle that goes around the belly to keep it in place, as well as the back leg straps! It’s a bit thin but works fine for rain (maybe not downpour). I followed the size chart and a large fits my Shiba Inu perfectly!

If you are looking for a windbreaker or a "raincoat" for when it is perhaps foggy/misty then this would be a good choice. It is well made and comes with a nice carrying case , so it may fit your needs. But for a raincoat, no. The material is too thin and any amount of significant rain would soak through. My dog currently has stitches that cannot get wet and this coat would not have kept the stiches dry in rain.

It works good, and he doesn't mind wearing it once I cut back the see through part. It doesn't go over his head right, so we don't use that part.
