I ordered the XL for my 65 lb golden retriever and it ‘s roomy and does not restrict her movements. I had to wait two weeks for its arrival, not realizing that it was being shipped from all the way from China, which if I had known, I would have ordered from a vendor that offers Prime shipping. It has pretty much been raining every day here since last month.The suit keeps my dog dry, and is surprisingly made well, although I would prefer it to have all snaps or a zipper instead of the long Velcro strip to close. Anyone who owns a golden retriever knows that Velcro becomes imbedded with hair in no time.I wish that Amazon offered goods made in the U.S.A.

The rain coat came within two weeks which was expected. We have a Golden Retriever who is actually smaller than most Goldens. Of course I ordered the size suggested in the chart for Golden Retriever about 60-65lbs. It was way too small. The design appeared very efficient in an easy to see yellow. It even had a separate rain hat with a clear visor. Very cute and well made with Velcro and snap button closure. I wish I could have just swap it for a larger size but they appear to be out of stock. The good news is I was able to return for refund. I would buy it again in the correct size if available.

This fits well and I am so glad to have a totally closed underside as I have a girl Irish Setter. This keeps her feathers clean and dry.

Samoyed cross always picks up wet and dirt even if it's just the ground that's wet. We live in the PNW where it rains all winter, so my dog was just always wet and matting. I measured her carefully and found the suit with dimensions that best matched her (some have different ratios of neck/chest/length), fits her perfectly! Detachable hood is large enough to tuck her fluffy hair into.The keyhole for attaching your leash is handy too but I don't think it would suit a dog who pulls on the leash a lot - I've seen people put harnesses over these rain suits though so that might work better for pullers. The hood is optional and I leave it off if it's not raining too hard or at all and don't bother passing the leash through the hole then.This winter she has hardly any matting in her belly and once we dry off the paws, she's ready to come inside. The only issue we've had is that the elastics rub her legs a bit, probably as her legs get wet and it caused a bit of chaffing. I rolled the sleeves up over the elastics just to provide an extra layer and no more chaffing.No problems completing #1 and #2s, no urine getting caught in the suit at all. She did find it funny to squat on day 1 but has since figured it out. She's had it a couple months now and it means she can get a good amount of exercise no matter the conditions! Even muddy hikes, take it off before getting back into the car.

I've tried this during a downpour and it did its job, kept my dog dry. But given the build quality and how often I use it, I don't expect it to last for more than a year. Then again, it's only $21.99.
