The hi hat stand in Amazon’s picture is not the one that arrived at my doorstep. The picture shows that the legs are adjustable in 2 places and can be pivoted to accommodate a double kick pedal. But the actual pedal does not have 2 adjustments- it has one. My picture shows the hihat stand you actually get. The bottom adjustment does not exist.So this listing deceiving and you should really update your pictureFortunately the legs are long enough so I can use my double kick pedal with it. It just looks weird.I needed this stand desperately for a music video as my stand broke right before shooting, so I’m keeping it since I used it already.It is lightweight and sturdy. Definitely a good long term pedal for a single kick pedal user or if you can tolerate it looking funny.

I sold off an older, heavier Pearl stand & replaced it with this, specifically because I have a vintage Ludwig kit and wanted to make it all Ludwig again. I was hoping it would be a little lighter than it is and didn't realize it's got double braced legs (not too sure how important that is, since I've had plenty of single braced stands and never had a problem with them). Speaking of the legs...this stand spreads way wider than other stands, so it actually increases the size of its footprint, thus the total space of my drum set. These legs spread out to almost 24". My PDW stand is 20" and my Pearl stand is 18" (and I have a cheap import that's only 15"). Other reason it lost a star...the post the cymbals rests on is extra long on does not recede lower than 31" above the floor. I prefer to sit so my knee bend is about 90 degrees (I'm 5'11"). I'll solve this issue in my garage with my hacksaw and take off a couple inches. Other than that, I do like this stand and it works great!

Call it light weight if you must, this is heavy duty hardware. Better than most and the response action terrific.

imagine..nowadays, ludwig.. going for this low price...and the wonder is... it really works, in both slow and quickand quite comfy to use... my only complaint is...it wont gosuper low.... there is a certain min. height...which is a few inchestoo much for me, but for many others, might Not be a prob....bot only the hi hats from Meinl, bcs Set.... for another usd 60...andthis is a great combo....will keep me busy for a year or two...and then,time to flash money for real quality hi hats in da future eh.
