Hands up--how many times has your drummer realized, while setting up for a gig that's starting in 10 minutes, that he forgot his clutch? Too many for my taste so I bought this to keep in my gig bag. It's cheap, it's fits the hi-hat stand we use, and it doesn't take up any space. I'd give it another star but, not being a drummer, I don't have anything to compare it to.

It does what it is intended to do but was too tight for the Tama Iron Cobra high hat stand. We jad to drill it out a bit to make it work

I just replaced the original clutch on my high hat with this one, and it works great. It's well made, and tightens up nicely, and stays tight.
