Couldn't get the quartz sleeve to seal properly. Finally, compared it to the one that had been in the unit and discovered the replacement was at least 1/2" - 5/8" shorter. This left me with a very small amount of quartz protruding on either end and virtually no room to install the o-rings. Consequently, the o-ring was not staying in place while tightening the end caps, but instead walked off the end of the quartz sleeve. It took at least 4 attempts of slowly tightening and guiding the o-ring back into position before I could get it to seal properly.
