I was slightly skeptical not using an OE I'll eat bulb but I decided to give it a whirl as we are going to be enlarging our enlarging our koi pond. The bulb seems to be an excellent replacement and an exact fit.

I can not rate these UV clarifying bulbs at this time. I ordered them for installation in spring and cannot test them or know of their strength or durability as compared to original replacements until later. I am taking a chance on them.I will say that they arrived on time and visually intact.

I purchase a new bulb yearly and it does a very good job of keeping my 500 gallon water garden algae free...so much better than lots of chemicals.

It plugged right in and went to work immediately--no problems whatsoever. Within a couple of days, the pond was clear again.
