I purchased this tape as a trial to use as steering wheel wrap. I am constantly getting in my truck with dirty hands and destroying the leather wrapped wheel. I use this tape all the time. When it gets dirty, I take it off. Removes easily, no residue. Replace with new tape and repeat the process.

I like that it is black and adheres well. This tape is very thin and breaks easily if too much stretching force is used during application. It has a nice appearance and is inexpensive but doesn’t provide as much cushion as I expected.

Just similiar to a fruity roll-up. Not sure as a handlebar grip because it can't keep its shape like a tennis grip would. What makes it great for me is that the tape is self fusing without glue. It's thin material is great for tidying up my brakes, power, and remote cables. Currently, I had to use electrical tape or shrink tubes.

I bought this as a substitute for game pad grips but because there's no adhesive surface, I would have had to glue them to the odd shape on the bottom part of a controller. I do have drum sticks and tried a small piece on one of them. So I'll keep it for that, but know what you're applying it to. It's not for everything.
