Does what it does it does very well. Just wish that it came with a simple hard case because these things just get ruined if the cups aren't protected. The cups are rubber, and they can, will, and do dry out, take a 'set' and age out if not cared for. You just can't just let them toss or lay around till next time you need it. FYI: the spindle isn't made of wood anymore. This is one of those things that when you need it, you need it now.

Made the mistake of buying the performance tool version locally. That was a worthless tool, suction cups were rock hard. Ordered the Lisle and it works great like the Lisle I bought 45 years ago. The only reason my old one was bad, is I lent it out 37 years ago and he tore the cup using it under power. Still worked that way but finally gave out in 2023. This new one is good!

After wasting time and money on the Performance tool product I ordered this one.. A real suction cup yeah! I have purchased the lisle brand tools before and my experience has been that they are good quality.. I am guessing they have some quality control measures in place.. Generally I think Lisle is a good brand you can trust in

Did a valve job on a 7HP Kohler. Not sure what size valve this tool is exactly for, but it was a little small And the suction isn't great. Overall, it worked but it kept coming off the valves and a cheap tool. I'm only giving it three stars because it did work eventually.

I operate a small engine repair business, and while the automotive sized tool is useful for many engines, this one is perfect for those engines with very small valves.

Used it to lap my values. Works pretty good. You need to get the technique down otherwise it will slip.

They are what they are and this is not the first that I have used. Good product and instead of using them for the normal engine style valves, I needed a small diameter suction cup for a stemless valve in a special pump. It did what it had to do and if it was used for an engine as I have done before--- they work great.
