Definitely a premium step-up ring for your circular filters. It comes in a nice case and works exactly as intended. You can never have enough of these to keep up with the higher quality filters for your lenses.

This step-up ring comes in a hard plastic protective case that's foam-padded to fit the exact size of the ring -- I can keep a filter attached to the ring and still close the case cover. The brass ring appears well machined with a smooth surface. This is the first step-up ring I've seen that has knurled edges to assist grip. Filters screw on/off smoothly (however I haven't tested in extreme hot/cold conditions). My URTH 82mm CPL screws on with 2 full turns. The low profile 3mm height should reduce tendency to cause vignettes. Overall a well crafted step-up ring albeit a bit pricey.

With bigger front elements, getting multiple filters is expensive and a pain to carry. In the Canon world a 72-82 provides an option to just get the big one and work on the smaller lenses. It threads on simply and adds little depth.

This step-up-ring is one of the best I have ever used/owned. It came in a higher-end filter case + packaging and the brass body is so durable and feels so good in the hands. Absolutely love this bad boy!

Great Step Up Ring here that hits the mark for what I was looking for. It has great machining and the grooves are well done to where they don't bite into my mounts in any bad way. Decent price, though if you're buying a few different ones that can send your budget up a bit quick. But functionality wins and I feel safe to use it on my gear and that's more important than price.

Kolari makes great products, so I did not hesitate ordering this.As usual, this is a high quality accessory. Thick machined brass with wonderful knurling.Bright ID writing on the outer rim...some of them are hard to read, but not this one.Brass is simply better than aluminum. It's easier on the lens' threads, and is less prone on getting stuck.Everything about the build points towards longevity...you won't likely ever have to replace this.I have Polar Pro rings, and these remind me of those, even the 'clam shell' case it comes in. Very nice.Big thumbs up!! Nice piece of kit.

I am impressed with this step-up ring. I've always used cheap step up ring kits; but the features and fit of this ring are far better than the ones I have been using. My 82mm UV filter went on with no resistance or binding; and the knurled edges of the ring make for easy removal. The magnetic latch case is just as nice, and accommodates the step-up ring plus an installed filter. Easy to recommend to anyone who wants to standardize on the largest 'standard' filter size and step down to other lenses.

I picked up the Kolari Pro Step-Up Ring to be used on an older 77mm Nikkor lens I have as the majority of my new filters are all 82mm because my most used lenses have 82mm threads. The step-up ring comes in a nice plastic hard case with a lot of foam siding - I've never seen such a thing for a step-up ring, so that's impressive. It's well-machined brass ring that's easy to hold and twist onto my old lens. The threading on the end is very nice - I always place my filters on and spin them counter-clockwise to make sure they're laying flat and are aligned with the threads on the lens/step-up ring then I spin it clockwise and tighten it appropriately.Overall, this is by far the nicest step-up ring I have ever had my hands on, so if you're looking for an EXCELLENT Step-Up Ring for your lens, look no further!
