How To Know Which Step-Up Ring is Needed
A step-up adapter's size is indicated by two numbers: the smaller size (male back thread for the lens) and the larger size (female front thread for filters). For instance, a 77-82mm step-up ring fits 77mm lenses and allows the use of 82mm filters.
What Size Are My Lens Threads?
