I purchased this when a kitchen remodel was done a couple of years ago now. This disposal has been a joy to own, never a minute problem, easy to install, works beautifully and quality made to last for many years to come. HIGHLY recommend this product!

I gave this product five stars because I do not consider it fair to downgrade it for the reason I returned it. I suspect its quality is fine. I ordered this to use with a new Kohler sink which also has a brushed stainless finish; the instructions with that sink specified this as the disposal flange that would match that product. The finish of this flange did indeed match the finish of the sink, but it did not match the shiny chrome finish of the drains that came with the sink. I decided I would rather match the flange with the other drain rather than with the finish of the sink itself.

Wow. Expensive. Good quality, but so expensive. Crazy. Hope it doesn't rust- to early to tell. Fit perfectly. No leaks.

Good grief! Does every disposer manufacturer skimp on the flange? This matches our new sink perfectly and was worth the expense. Also it nice not to have to look at the shiny cheap flange included with the disposer branded with their name. The only complaint I have with the Kohler flange is the design of the stopper. With wet and soapy hands it is difficult to securely grasp the stopper to drain the sink. It is a small annoyance.

My sink was purchased with my countertops and the countertop people told me what accessories I would still need. The person who connected my sink brought one with him that he purchased from a big box store just in case I didn't have one there. This one looked a lot nicer than his. His had almost a gold tint to it and didn't quite match the finish of the sink. We compared prices, and mine was also around $5 less. All in all, mine was hands down the better buy!

Great replacement for Insinkerator standard flange. Matches my brushed stainless steel Kohler Duostrainer Sink Strainer perfectly. Appears to be made of a heavier gauge steel than the standard flange that comes with the disposal.Tip: I re-installed the black Insinkerator rubber baffle into the new Kohler flange. If fit perfectly. I also removed the stopper rubber ring from the Kohler stopper and reused the rubber ring from the Insinkerator stopper. I think the Insinkerator stopper works better since I was reusing the Insinkerator rubber baffle. The stopper rubber seals easily come off and are interchangeable between Kohler and Insinkerator.

At the end of the day, it is only a disposal flange, but it looks great, says "Kohler" on it (be careful, didn't see it at first and almost had the name pointing in the wrong direction). Mated perfectly with my new Kohler whitehaven sink and garbage disposal. You could probably get cheaper flanges, but compared to the sink cost, I'll take it. The brushed stainless perfectly matches my brushed stainless faucet.
